At The Tutti Pole you can have just a drink, maybe with a homemade Toasted Tea Cake or a piece of cake, through to a full English Breakfast served all day, a three course meal or just a light snack. Our menu is vast and varied, however if there is something you fancy but you can’t find it on the menu we will endeavour to provide it for you.
We have seating for 80 people inside and in the summer when the patio is open we have seating for up to 48 on our enclosed patio. Most of the restaurant is non-smoking but we have a small area available for smoking between 9.00a.m. - 11.30 a.m. and after 3.00p.m. During lunch times the whole restaurant is non-smoking.
We welcome families and larger group bookings and often cater for disabled or elderly parties for cream tea outings. As we are next to the Canal many people come to us before or after a barge trip on The Rose of Hungerford. There is a disabled toilet and a portable loop system for those with hearing aids. High chairs are available for children.
Children’s meals are available and smaller size portions of the main special dishes of the day for children and senior citizens.
A daily selection of special dishes are available as well as our regular menu. Each Sunday we serve roast dinners. There is an extensive selection of premium Mövenpick ice creams to eat in or take away all year round plus a Cornish style soft machine ice cream available usually from Easter until approximately October.
Normally sponge cakes are available to take away as well as our selection of individual homemade cakes, of which there are approximately eighteen varieties to choose from.
Locally grown produce is used where possible and delicious cream from a local Guernsey herd accompanies the homemade jam used in the cream teas.
Opening times are 9.00a.m to 5.30p.m Monday to Friday and 9.00a.m. to 6.00p.m. Saturday and Sunday. We usually only close for Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve & New Years Day but our opening hours for the Christmas holidays are always displayed early December.
